He completed medical school through the University of New England and subsequently completed postgraduate training at Eastern Health and Monash Health specializing in Gastroenterology. He undertook an intestinal ultrasound fellowship at the Alfred Hospital and leads a newly developed service at Northern Health.
Anuj combines his clinical work with clinical research and has recently submitted his PhD through Monash University titled “optimizing the quality and utility of non-invasive methods of disease assessment in inflammatory bowel disease”.

Process :
- Email all referrals to reception.lilydale@qhealth.com.au . These will be sent to Dr Abhijit Bidwai for approval. Once approved we will contact you.
- Pre-payment is required in full at time of booking.
- For cancellations, we request that you contact the clinic atleast 72 hrs prior to your appointment time so we can offer the appointment to another client on the waitlist and try to accommodate you as best as we can.
- Medicare Rebate for you will be submitted after the appointment. It is your responsibility to provide us with updated Medicare details and a valid GP referral for the Medicare rebate to be successful.
- Patients without a Medicare Card or services/assessments where a Medicare rebate is not applicable, the patients will be required to pay private fees. It is the responsibility of the patient to keep their Medicare details updated with us and be informed of the balance on their card.
